LendFax Advertising & Marketing Disclosures

Effective Date: July 15, 2025

Advertiser Disclosure

LendFax (Lendfax Media, LLC) is a marketing lead generator and not a lender. The offers that appear on this site are from companies from which LendFax receives compensation. This compensation may impact how and where products appear on this site (including, for example, the order in which they appear). LendFax does not include all providers or all available offers in the marketplace. You may not be matched with a provider making a particular conditional offer, and LendFax does not guarantee that any provider will make you an offer. All credit decisions, loan approvals, and conditional terms are the responsibility of the participating providers and will vary based on your information, financial profile, and their criteria.

Introduction

At LendFax, we believe in being transparent and honest in all of our advertising and marketing practices. These Advertising & Marketing Disclosures explain how our platform is funded, how we present information to you, and the standards and regulations we adhere to in our marketing communications. By using our site or interacting with our marketing content (emails, advertisements, etc.), you should understand the following:

  • Not a Lender: LendFax is not a lender, bank, or insurer. We do not make loans, credit decisions, or insurance underwriting decisions. We are a lead generation platform that connects consumers and businesses with third-party service providers in industries such as loans, credit, debt relief, mortgage/refinance, and insurance. Any offers of financial products you may receive are from those third-party providers, not from LendFax itself.
  • Marketing Purpose: The content and tools on our site (such as rate displays, offer listings, or email promotions) are provided for marketing purposes to help you learn about available options. We strive to present information that is accurate and up-to-date, but all information should be verified with the offering provider. LendFax does not guarantee that any company will extend credit or provide a service to you, or that you will qualify for the rates or terms displayed in our marketing materials.
  • No Financial Advice: LendFax is not acting as a financial advisor or credit counselor. Any information presented (including blog articles, calculators, or comparisons) is general in nature and not tailored to your personal circumstances. You should consider seeking professional advice before making significant financial decisions.

How We Make Money (Compensation Disclosure)

LendFax’s service is free to consumers – we do not charge you any fees to use our site or to be matched with providers. Instead, LendFax is typically compensated by our network of third-party partners (such as lenders, brokers, or insurers) when we refer potential customers to them. This compensation may be in the form of a fee per lead, a commission for a funded loan or closed sale, or other arrangement.

Because partners pay us, LendFax may feature certain providers or offers more prominently on our site or in emails. For example, a lender that has a higher compensation arrangement might appear as a “Featured” option. However, we do not rank or present partners solely based on compensation – we also consider factors such as relevance to your inquiry and overall competitiveness of their offerings. Our goal is to provide options that align with your needs. We disclose any “sponsored” or paid placements so that you are aware of our relationship. In all cases, offers from our partners may vary based on your personal qualifications and the partner’s criteria. The presence of a partner’s offer on our site does not constitute an endorsement by LendFax, and you are always free to seek out alternatives.

Example: If LendFax receives compensation for a mortgage lead, we might show that lender in a comparison table along with a “Sponsored” label. We strive to present fair and relevant options even when compensation is involved. You should review all terms and shop around independently as well.

Truth in Advertising and FTC Compliance

LendFax adheres to the principle of “truth in advertising.” This means all statements in our advertisements, emails, and web content must be truthful and not misleading, and any claims are supported by evidenceluthor.ai. We comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and regulations regarding advertising, marketing, and endorsements. For example:

  • Clear and Conspicuous Disclosures: If an offer has material conditions (such as “rates as low as X%” which only some users qualify for), we endeavor to disclose those conditions clearly. We avoid fine print that would mislead the average consumer.
  • Testimonials & Endorsements: Any testimonials, reviews, or endorsement content we use in marketing are either from real users or identified as such. Some reviews may be aggregated from third-party platforms (e.g., TrustPilot or Google reviews) to provide an overview of user sentiment. If we ever use an endorsement from a person with whom we have a material connection (for example, a paid spokesperson or a partner providing a testimonial), we will clearly disclose the material connection in accordance with FTC Endorsement Guides. We do not falsify or fabricate any reviews or testimonials.
  • No Guaranteed Results: We never guarantee that you will achieve specific results (for instance, “cut your debt in half!” or “get a loan in 5 minutes guaranteed”). Any claims about outcomes are either examples or averages, and individual results will vary. Whenever success stories or hypothetical scenarios are mentioned, we clarify that they are not universal. For instance, we might say “You could save up to $500/month by refinancing,” but we will also note that actual savings depend on your situation.
  • Monitoring and Compliance: Our marketing team and compliance team review advertising materials for compliance with laws and guidelines. We remain up-to-date with FTC rules, including guidelines on digital advertising, social media, and email marketing, to ensure our practices meet current standards.

By following these practices, we aim to provide you with information that is helpful without deceptive hype. If you ever spot an advertisement or statement from LendFax that you believe is inaccurate or misleading, please let us know.

Email & SMS Marketing Disclosures

If you provided us with your email or phone number and consented to receive marketing messages, LendFax and/or our partners may send you promotional emails or text messages. All marketing emails from LendFax will include:

  • Our Identity: The email will clearly state it is from LendFax (Lendfax Media, LLC) and often include our logo and contact information.
  • Advertisement Notice: If the email is a commercial solicitation, we will identify it as an advertisement where required.
  • Unsubscribe Option: Every marketing email contains an “Unsubscribe” link or instructions that allow you to opt out of future emails, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. If you opt out, we will remove you from our marketing email list within a reasonable time frame.
  • Email Disclaimers: Our marketing emails include a footer with relevant disclaimers. For example, we remind recipients that LendFax is not a lender and that offers are provided by third parties. We also disclose that rates and terms are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Example of email footer language: “LendFax is not a lender and does not make credit decisions – we connect borrowers with lenders and service providers who may compensate us. Offers are not guaranteed and are subject to provider approval and terms. This email is an advertisement from LendFax. You are receiving this because you requested information from LendFax or one of our partners. To stop receiving emails, [click here to unsubscribe].”

For SMS/text messages, we include instructions on how to opt out (e.g., replying “STOP”). Standard message and data rates may apply, and frequency of messages will be as described when you opted in. We only send SMS messages to users who have given explicit consent, per TCPA requirements.

Partner and Offer Disclosure

When you see offers for financial services on LendFax’s site or marketing materials, please note:

  • Offer Details from Partners: We display summary information (like estimated rates, loan amounts, or introductory offers) for convenience. The full details of any offer will be provided by the partner. Always review the official documentation from the partner (for example, the loan agreement, terms and conditions, or policy documents) before committing. We endeavor to keep the information we display current, but partners can change their terms or rates without notice. LendFax is not responsible for outdated or erroneous information provided by partners, though we will correct known errors promptly.
  • No Independent Verification: While LendFax vets its network of partners for reputation and compliance, we do not independently verify every claim a partner makes about their services. It is important that you conduct your own due diligence. For example, if a lender claims “instant approval,” understand that this likely means a quick initial decision, but not a guaranteed final approval. Or if a debt relief provider advertises a certain average debt reduction, remember your results could differ.
  • Comparative Advertising: If our site or ads compare multiple providers or products side-by-side, the comparison is intended to be fair. We list key factors (like APR, fees, or customer ratings) in a comparable manner. However, not all features can be captured in a summary. We encourage you to click through and read the full details for each option.

Regulatory Compliance Statements

  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act): We only call or text consumers who have given us proper consent to do so (for example, by submitting a form with an agreement to be contacted). We provide required disclosures at the point of data collection. Consumers may revoke consent at any time, and we honor opt-out requests as described in our Terms and Privacy Policy. Our partners are also required to follow TCPA regulations for any calls or texts they make to you using information from LendFax.
  • CAN-SPAM Act: Our commercial emails follow CAN-SPAM requirements – including accurate subject lines, our valid physical mailing address, clear identification that the message is an advertisement (if applicable), and a functional unsubscribe mechanism. We do not harvest emails or send unsolicited bulk email to random recipients.
  • State Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA, etc.): If you are a California resident (or resident of a state with similar laws), you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or sharing of your personal information. LendFax’s marketing activities – such as sharing your lead with a partner, or using cookies for targeted advertising – may be considered a “sale” or “share” under those laws. We honor opt-out requests through our Data Request page or via signals like the Global Privacy Control. We also ensure that any personal data used in marketing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. We do not sell your information without your consent and any sharing of data is solely to provide the services requested. If you opt out of data sharing, we will cease using your data for third-party targeted marketing.
  • GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act): As a company involved in facilitating financial services, LendFax complies with the privacy provisions of GLBA where applicable. We provide consumers with a clear privacy notice (see our Privacy Policy) explaining what personal information we collect and how it’s used. We give you choices to opt out of certain disclosures of your information to non-affiliated third parties, except as permitted or required by law. We also maintain a comprehensive information security program to safeguard consumer data.
  • UDAP/UDAP (Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices): We avoid any marketing practice that could be considered unfair or deceptive. This includes making false claims, using bait-and-switch tactics, or failing to disclose important terms. We train our marketing and sales staff on compliance standards to ensure consistency with Federal Trade Commission Act Section 5 and similar state laws.

Industry-Specific Disclaimers

  1. Business & Personal Loans: LendFax is not a lender. Any loan offers displayed via LendFax come from third-party lending partners who may compensate us. All loan terms (rates, fees, amounts) are determined by the lending partners based on their evaluation of your qualifications (credit history, income, etc.). Eligibility is not guaranteed. Using LendFax does not obligate you to accept any loan, and you should carefully review all terms and conditions provided by the lender before agreement. No fees are charged by LendFax to you for using our loan matching service. We strongly recommend that you read all loan offers thoroughly and perform your own due diligence, including comparing quotes from outside of our network, before borrowing.
  2. Debt Relief (Consumer & Business): LendFax is not a debt settlement or debt relief company. We connect you with third-party debt relief service providers (such as debt settlement firms or credit counselors) who may be able to assist with consolidating or settling your debts. Results will vary. Be aware that debt relief programs can have significant impacts on your credit and not all creditors will negotiate. Fees: Debt relief providers often charge fees (for example, a percentage of debt reduced) – those are set by the provider and will be disclosed in their agreements. LendFax does not charge you for the referral. We do not guarantee any specific reduction in debt or that using a debt relief service will improve your situation. Review all materials from any debt relief provider and consider consulting a financial advisor about the risks (such as potential credit score impact or tax implications of forgiven debt).
  3. Credit Repair: LendFax is not a credit repair organization. We may refer you to third-party credit repair or credit improvement services that might compensate us for leads. No outcome is guaranteed – beware of any credit repair service that promises a specific score increase or removal of accurate negative information from your credit report. Legitimate credit repair can help dispute inaccuracies, but it cannot remove truthful negative reports or instantly boost your credit. Under federal law, you have rights to dispute incorrect information on your own for free. If you choose to work with a credit repair firm, ensure they provide required disclosures under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) (e.g., your right to cancel within 3 days, etc.). LendFax’s mention or referral of a credit repair service is for your convenience; we advise caution and due diligence in evaluating such services.
  4. Insurance (Health, Life, Auto, etc.): LendFax is not an insurance company or insurance agency. We do not underwrite insurance policies. We work with licensed insurance agencies or brokerages that offer quotes for various insurance products (health insurance, life insurance, auto insurance, homeowners insurance, etc.). Any insurance quote you receive through our platform is provided by the licensed partner and is subject to underwriting and approval by the insurer. Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and can change if that information is verified differently by the insurer. Compensation: Insurance partners may pay LendFax for referrals, but such compensation does not increase your premium (insurance premiums are regulated). Always review the insurer’s official quote and terms. Purchasing insurance is a significant decision; compare coverage details, limits, exclusions, and premiums carefully among different options.
  5. Mortgage & Refinance: LendFax does not originate mortgages. We connect you with third-party mortgage lenders or brokers who can offer mortgage loans or refinancing options. Any interest rates or loan terms shown on our site (for example, “Today’s Rates”) are for informational purposes and are not a formal mortgage offer or lock. Mortgage rates fluctuate daily and depend on market conditions as well as your personal financial profile (credit score, loan-to-value ratio, property location, etc.). All mortgage loan offers are made by licensed lenders and are subject to their application and approval process. We advise you to get loan estimates from multiple lenders (including those outside our network) and review the APR, closing costs, and loan terms in detail. LendFax does not charge you, the consumer, any fees for mortgage referrals. We also remind you that taking on a mortgage is a long-term financial commitment; ensure you understand the terms and can meet the obligations before proceeding.

In all categories above, performing your own due diligence is crucial. LendFax provides a starting point to explore options, but the inclusion of an offer on our platform is not a substitute for your independent research into that product or provider.

Partner Compliance and Liability

We expect and require every advertising partner in our network to uphold high standards of compliance and customer service. Our agreements with partners include obligations to comply with all relevant laws and regulations (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state consumer protection laws, etc.) when engaging with leads from LendFax. Partners are also required to honor consumer privacy choices, such as requests not to be contacted or to delete personal information, in accordance with applicable laws. If you submit an inquiry through LendFax, our partners should contact you only regarding that inquiry and should provide truthful information about their services.

Despite these requirements, LendFax cannot guarantee the conduct of third-party partners. Once your information is transferred at your request, any communications or dealings you have with the partner are between you and that partner. LendFax is not liable for a partner’s failure to comply with laws or for their actions (or omissions) in providing their product or service. For example, if a partner fails to stop contacting you after you opt out, or if a lender declines your application or provides a service that you are unsatisfied with, those outcomes are beyond LendFax’s control. However, we do want to know if a partner is not meeting expectations or compliance standards – please report any issues to us and we will investigate and take appropriate action (up to removing non-compliant partners from our network).

Accessibility of Marketing Materials

We are committed to making our marketing content accessible to individuals with disabilities. Emails or web pages we produce follow our Accessibility Statement (for instance, we include alternative text for images in emails where possible, and we endeavor to make forms and interactive tools usable by screen readers). If you encounter any accessibility barriers in our marketing (such as an email that is hard to read with assistive technology), please contact us so we can send you the information in an alternative format.
